    On Saturday July 19th

    our very special guest

    brings his latest show

    to Nanaimo

“Marathon is astonishing. It’s raw. It’s a man braving his deepest fears to share his discoveries with us. … As he shares his revelations, we should be put off – we should be incredulous, we should dismiss, but it’s impossible to do. Dawe is too forthright, his story too identifiable as genuine experience, and we are faced with its living proof as he stands before us.” Read the review at Fringe Review

Once again acclaimed fringe veteran TJ Dawe will perform in Nanaimo as a benefit for our Fringe Festival. Since his Nanaimo performance last year about his experiences with ayahuasca we’ve received many requests to bring him back. Weaving together varied interests and relentlessly pursuing self-discovery, TJ creates intimate and engaging shows that always leave you with something to chew on. With MARATHON, his newest show, TJ experiments for the first time with a partially improvised performance.
