In a liminal space, two estranged sisters—a bulimia survivor and a grad student researching witchcraft trials—begin a ritual. As they delve into their conflicted past, they expose each other’s fault lines. Marrow weaves words and images from witchcraft trials with the psychological landscape of two contemporary women, embracing metaphor and subverting stereotypes.
